            The association of deaf people in Tolosaldea-Goierri (Basque Country –Spain), is preparing the “III International Film Festival in Sign Language”. GAINDITZEN AWARDS 2012. Until this year we've celebrated the International Short-Movies Festival of Language of Signs, but this year as novelty we will celebrate the International Films Festival of Language of Signs. The festival will be celebrated during all the week with films, documentaries and short-movies. As novelty we will also celebrate a competition called “Silent Art”. Three contests will be celebrated: Feature film contest, short film contest an “Silent Art” contest.

 

 

            With this project, we are trying to bring new artistic and technological tendencys to deaf people and offer a place of recognition and new opportunities to this people, who lots of times, cant participate in different cultural events.

 

            The celebration of GAINDITZEN AWARDS 2012 is going to be, the 10th of November of 2012, in Leidor cinema, Tolosa.
